The City

Located in Central Vietnam equidistantly between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang is also the center of the three world cultural heritage sites: Hue, Hoi An, and My Son Sanctuary. Da Nang is the terminal of the East-West economic corridor and also the gateway to the Pacic Ocean from Burma, Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam.

Da Nang is endowed with a long coastline and boasts some of the best beaches in the world. Further to this are the breathtaking views from Hai Van Pass and the cultural experiences from Marble and Son Tra Mountains. Surrounded by river, mountains, and sea, the city possesses unique features, unmatched in other cities. Da Nang is known as the city of bridges. In addition to the Han River swing bridge, this “city of light” also has Dragon bridge registered for the Guinness Book of Records, Tran Thi Ly sail-shaped Bridge, ThuanPhuoc cable stayed bridge, the largest in Southeast Asia.

Da Nang is also known for its safe and peaceful living environment. The city is also popular amongst tourists for its freshness and cultural activities & festivals: International fireworks, light competitions and international marathon.
